Brandon McNulty Secures Tour de Pologne Victory in Thrilling Time Trial

The 2025 Tour de Pologne saw an exciting time trial stage, with Brandon McNulty (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) clinching the victory and the overall title.

In the 12.5km race around Wieliczka near Krakow, McNulty set a blistering time of 14:31, 46 seconds faster than the stage 6 winner, Victor Langellotti (Ineos Grenadiers). His impressive performance moved him up to the top spot, securing his second consecutive daily and overall spoils for UAE Team Emirates-XRG.

Lorenzo Milesi (Movistar) put up a strong challenge, finishing 12 seconds behind McNulty. The Italian rider had the fastest intermediate time check after six kilometres, recording a time of 14:43. However, McNulty improved on Milesi's time, securing his overall victory.

Matteo Sobrero (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe) finished third, 15 seconds behind McNulty. Sobrero's effort was worth it, as he moved up to third place overall, 37 seconds behind the winner.

Antonio Tiberi (Bahrain Victorious) finished fourth on the stage and second overall at 29 seconds. Langellotti, who started last in a yellow skinsuit as race leader, could do nothing to stop McNulty ahead of him. He finished the time trial in 15:17, slipping down to fifth overall at 39 seconds.

Only 115 riders started the time trial, with Jan Christen (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) finishing 12th in the time trial. His position was enough to defend his fourth place overall at 39 seconds.

The 2025 Tour de Pologne time trial was a thrilling spectacle, with McNulty's dominant performance securing his place in the history books. The race now moves on to the final stages, with McNulty looking to defend his overall lead and secure a historic victory.
