In a thrilling display of cycling prowess, Brandon McNulty (UAE Team Emirates) clinched a resounding victory in the 2023 Tour de Pologne time trial. The 12.5 km individual race around Wieliczka, which included a gradual climb and a fast descent, saw McNulty deliver a stunning performance that secured both the stage win and the overall race victory.
Lorenzo Milesi (Movistar Team) finished second in the time trial, 12 seconds behind McNulty. Matteo Sobrero (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe) followed closely in third place, 15 seconds behind the winner.
The day's fastest time was initially set by Artz Huub (Intermarche-Wanty) with a time of 14:54. However, McNulty's exceptional performance saw him finish in 14:31, a time that would ultimately secure his stage win.
