Raab and Bully unveil their new track, entitled "Kanu des Manitu"
In August 2025, entertainer Stefan Raab and director Michael "Bully" Herbig have teamed up once again, this time for a catchy new song and a Western comedy film. The duo's latest collaborative effort, titled "Because We Are So Super Cool," was officially released on August 8.
The song humorously explores contemporary lifestyle themes, such as vegan food, oat milk, "cool cork sandals," and cycling on e-bikes. Raab and Herbig deliver these topics with their signature lighthearted style, all while riding e-bikes.
This track serves as a promotional and thematic complement to the upcoming film "Canoe of the Manitou," a sequel to the cult classic "Manitou's Shoe." Both Raab and Herbig star in this Western comedy alongside longtime collaborators Christian Tramitz and Rick Kavanian.

In 2004, Raab contributed the soundtrack "Space-Taxi" to Herbig's film "(T)Raumschiff Surprise - Periode 1." The soundtrack stayed in the German charts for weeks, and the film included excerpts of the song "Weil wir so supergeil drauf sind," which was later officially released.
The video for "Weil wir so supergeil drauf sind" features Raab and Herbig dancing and casually swaying in a rocking chair, interspersed with short film clips. The song's catchy chorus goes: "Because we're so super excited and only occasionally argue, because we're up at 7 am, and only occasionally high."
On Instagram and TikTok, snippets of the song had been circulating before its official release. One Instagram user commented that the film and song together feel like a time travel back to their childhood.
The sequel to the cult film "Der Schuh des Manitu," titled "Das Kanu des Manitu," will be released in cinemas on August 14. Fans of Raab and Herbig are eagerly awaiting this latest collaboration, which promises to be a fun-filled ride filled with laughter and music.
