Münster, Germany - July 4, 2023: Preparations are underway for a right-wing demonstration scheduled to take place in Münster tomorrow, with the route expected to span from the main train station (Münster Central Station), Hafenstraße, and Ludgerikreisel. The demonstration, organized by right-wing extremists, has been announced by the Münster police.

In response to the anticipated event, the police have prepared extensive measures to manage potential traffic disruptions and ensure public safety. While the operational details are not fully disclosed, it is expected that the police will implement road closures and increase their presence in the affected areas.

The counter-protests, organised by the alliance "No Meter to the Nazis", are planned for the same route, with four demonstrations scheduled at 12 PM. These will take place in front of the main train station, Ludgerikreisel in front of Dominos Pizza, Ludgerikreisel in front of the Integration Council, and platform 22.

The alliance and local authorities have emphasized the importance of peaceful assembly, with the police issuing guidelines for proper behaviour at demonstrations, including bans on wearing uniforms, carrying weapons or dangerous objects, and concealing one's identity. The police have also stated that they will likely intervene against sit-ins during the demonstrations.

The alliance has expressed concern over the right-wing party "Die Heimat" attempting to posthumously rehabilitate Siegfried Borchardt, a notorious figure in Münster's history. They have called for proportionate police action, citing the strong counter-protest in Münster and the potential for a larger-scale dangerous situation on July 5.

Ralf Clausen, Chief Editor at ALL ABOUT MÜNSTER, has shown interest in the events, publishing articles on recent police actions related to right-wing demonstrations and other local news. Clausen, who is particularly fond of music, culture, history, and local stories, is known to occasionally bring vinyl records to Münster's pubs to play his favourite tunes from the 50s, 60s, and occasionally the 70s.

It is worth noting that the right-wing demonstration will not reach its actual target, the Higher Administrative Court on Aegidiistraße, due to the massive counter-protests. The demonstration by the far-right successor party "Die Heimat" is scheduled for tomorrow, starting at 2 PM, in the area between the main train station, Hafenstraße, and Ludgerikreisel.

In a recent statement, the police have emphasized their duty to enable peaceful assemblies, while also stressing that obstructive blockades and violence are not covered by the right to assembly. The alliance has referred to the failed extreme right march a month ago.

As the city prepares for tomorrow's events, residents and visitors are encouraged to stay informed and adhere to the guidelines for peaceful and safe demonstrations.

In light of the anticipated right-wing demonstration and counter-protests in Münster, general news outlets may cover these events, including crime-and-justice updates related to potential incidents. The police have emphasized that while they will enable peaceful assemblies, any obstructive blockades or violent actions will not be tolerated.
