Queen Elizabeth II's Unique Range Rover to Go Under the Hammer
A significant piece of automotive history is set to be auctioned at Iconic Auctioneers in Silverstone, as the 2006 Range Rover L322 previously owned by Queen Elizabeth II goes up for sale at the Silverstone Festival sale in 2025.
This supercharged V8 model, customised by Land Rover's Special Vehicle Operations, is a rare find, with this being the only such L322 that Her Majesty owned. The vehicle boasts enhanced security wiring, running boards, mud flaps, rear grab handles, and a special dog grille, all designed to meet the Queen's specific requirements.
The Range Rover is painted in the traditional Tonga Green, with a Sand Oxford leather interior and oak wood trim, and features a silver labrador mascot hood ornament exclusive to the Queen's personal vehicles. With approximately 193,120 km on the odometer, it has served the Queen at Windsor Castle on multiple occasions.
Experts estimate the car's value between £50,000 and £70,000 (approximately $67,000 to $93,000). Considering its rarity and historical significance, this Range Rover could be a true find for collectors.
