Quarterfinals of the Toto Cup reached
In the heart of the Cham/Schwandorf football district, the first quarter-finals of the BFV-Toto-Cup are taking place today, Wednesday. The action-packed evening will see several teams from different leagues competing for a spot in the semi-finals.
The first match of the evening pits SV Kemnath, a team from the West Circuit League, against the promoted team from Schwarzenfeld (Bezirksliga). Kemnath's coach, Alexander Grill, a player-coach with a record of 24 games, 14 wins, 5 draws, and 5 losses as of the 2024/25 season, will lead his team at 6:30 PM.
Meanwhile, over at the same district, the game between TSV Tännesberg and SpVgg Pfreimd, both from the North District League, is currently ongoing. This match marks the first quarter-finals of the BFV-Toto-Cup.
Later in the evening, at 7 PM, SV Schwarzhofen from the North District League will challenge SpVgg Willmering-Waffenbrunn, a team from the East Circuit League.
In another exciting development, TSV Nittenau, from the West Circuit League, will play their game a week later. The opponent for this match is yet to be announced.
