Leagues Cup 2025 Quarterfinals: MLS vs. LIGA MX Teams Square Off
The Leagues Cup 2025 Quarterfinals are set to light up the football scene on Wednesday, August 20, as four MLS and four LIGA MX teams battle it out for a spot in the semifinals.
The highly anticipated matchup of the round pits Inter Miami, led by Lionel Messi, against Tigres, helmed by Ángel Correa. This thrilling encounter will take place at Chase Stadium in Ft. The American football representatives in the Quarterfinals are Orlando City, Inter Miami, Seattle Sounders, and Los Angeles Galaxy. The Sounders, who have won all three of their first-round matches, will face Puebla at Lumen Field from 9:00 PM ET, with the match available on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
LA Galaxy vs Pachuca, scheduled for 9:45 PM ET at Dignity Health Sports Park, will be another exciting encounter. The match will be broadcast on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
Toluca, the current leader of the Liga MX and Mexican football champion, is considered the strongest contender from Mexico. They will face Orlando City at Dignity Health Sports Park from 7:00 PM ET, with the match available on Channel 9, TUDN, MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
Puebla, under new coach Martín Bravo, will take on Seattle Sounders at Lumen Field. The match is scheduled for 11:00 PM ET and will be available on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
The Mexican clubs are aiming to end the American dominance in the tournament. The Quarterfinals feature four matches, with teams from Liga MX competing against MLS teams.

The semifinals are scheduled for August 26-27, with the final day set for August 31. The Leagues Cup has seen Columbus Crew and Inter Miami emerge victorious in the previous two editions.
