Qatar’s Parachuting Team Shatters Guinness World Record with Spectacular Fireworks Display

The Qatar Air Sports Committee (QASC) has honoured its Parachuting Display Team for breaking a global Guinness World Record. The achievement was celebrated during the 47th CISM World Military Parachuting Championship in Doha. Officials praised the team’s success while weather delays disrupted the tournament’s schedule.

The Qatari team set the record last August in Zephyr Hills, USA. They organised the largest military parachute fireworks display, featuring 37 jumpers and a 55.89 kg pyrotechnic payload. The performance met strict international standards, earning them their fifth Guinness title.

The Qatari team’s record-breaking display has reinforced their reputation in military parachuting. With competitions set to continue, organisers will monitor weather updates closely. The championship remains a key event for elite skydivers and pilots worldwide.
