Qatar's Lusail Circuit to Host Inaugural CIRCUIT Global Race Track Summit & Awards
The Lusail International Circuit (LIC) in Doha, Qatar, will host the inaugural CIRCUIT - The Global Race Track Summit & Awards from 16 to 18 February 2026. This prestigious event is set to take place at one of the world's most advanced and architecturally striking motorsport venues, further cementing Qatar's growing leadership in global motorsport.
The summit, organized by CIRCUIT - The Global Race Track Summit & Awards, will unite key players in the global motorsport industry. It will feature networking sessions, a global conference, an investment forum, and the Global Race Track Awards. The event aims to shape the future of global motorsport infrastructure by bringing together circuit promoters, designers, architects, engineers, investors, and operators.
Chris James, Founder & CEO of CIRCUIT, expressed his gratitude to the President and CEO of LIC, Abdulaziz Ali Al Mohannadi, for their support in hosting the event at the state-of-the-art venue. Al Mohannadi, in turn, sees LIC as a symbol of Qatar's vision for the future of global motorsport and is honored to host the inaugural CIRCUIT event. The president of LIC, Abdulrahman bin Abdullatif Al Mannai, who is also president of the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF), has played a significant role in bringing this global event to Qatar.
Adding to the credibility of the event is the support from former Formula 1 driver David Coulthard and his global events company, Whisper Group.
