Harry Locke IV, a name synonymous with creativity and innovation in the world of filmmaking, has made a significant impact in the industry. Born and raised in Calumet City, Illinois, Locke's passion for storytelling began to take shape during his high school years.

After honing his skills in video production, Locke ventured to Los Angeles in 2011 to attend the USC School of Cinematic Arts' MFA program. This move marked the beginning of a journey that would lead him to become a filmmaker with over 100 on-screen credits.

Locke finds creative inspiration from a myriad of sources, including graphic novels, films, videogames, TV series, music, and even reality TV shows like 90 Day Fiancé and its variations. He is also a fan of HBO series such as Euphoria, Mare of Easttown, I May Destroy You, Years and Years, The Righteous Gemstones, and Game of Thrones. His admiration for the cinematic arts extends to the works of Christopher Nolan and Denis Villeneuve, and he credits the 1993 film Tombstone as a significant influence.

As he prepares for a big project, Locke meticulously gathers visual references and pitch decks to ensure a seamless execution. In the heart of his creative process, he frequently uses the shortcut CMD + OPT + G in DaVinci Resolve to activate the "Grab Still" option.

One of Locke's most notable works is the action-adventure movie The City of Gold, which opened at number 17 and 21 in the UK's VOD and DVD sales charts for August 2018, respectively. This project is one that Locke is particularly proud of.

To manage creative burnout, Locke takes breaks and engages in activities like scenic trips, exercise, and gaming. He also finds solace in taking early morning walks with his wife along the beach, listening to film soundtracks.
