Publicis Media dominates Germany's ad market with $819M in new wins
Publicis Media has topped the rankings for new business wins in Germany, securing 23 accounts worth $819 million. The group's success includes major brands like Aldi, Dr. Oetker, Mars, and Paramount Global. Meanwhile, Mediaplus and Dentsu also made strong showings in the latest industry results. Publicis Media led the market with its agencies performing exceptionally well. Starcom, part of the network, took the top spot as the best-performing individual agency. Its wins included high-profile clients such as Mars, Dr. Oetker, and Reckitt. Zenith, another Publicis agency, followed closely in second place, boosted by a significant new contract with Aldi.
Mediaplus, Germany's largest independent agency, secured second place overall with $318 million in revenue. The agency also maintained a strong client retention rate of 48%, generating $157 million from existing accounts. Despite its success, Mediaplus ranked fourth among individual agencies. Dentsu came in third among holding groups, balancing eleven new client gains with eleven losses. Initiative, now under Omnicom after its separation from IPG, claimed third place at the individual agency level.
