Public Event Alert: Europe Festival Holds in Hofgarten, Dusseldorf on May 10
In the heart of Düsseldorf, the Hofgarten will once again be filled with the melodious sounds of European unity and culture, as the Sound of Europe Festival makes its grand return for its 5th edition.
Scheduled to take place on May 10th, from 1 to 4 pm, this year's festival is themed "Europe celebrates its birthday - 75 years since the Schuman Declaration". The festival will be opened by Mayor Dr. Stephan Keller, and Elif Şenel will host the event. The Europe Direct Center of the City of Düsseldorf, in cooperation with stadtklang e.V., is organising the festival, with support from Stadtwerke Düsseldorf, Stadtsparkasse Düsseldorf, and the Landesinitiative Europa-Schecks of the North Rhine-Westphalia state government.
Visitors are welcomed to bring their own food and drinks and use the lawn in front of the music pavilion as a picnic area. There will be activities for children, information from various parties, and a diverse food and drink offering.
This year's festival promises an exciting lineup of performances, with four bands taking the stage: The French Gig (Indiepop, Soul, Rock), Zambo Super Pizza (Ska, Raggae, Afrobeats), ANATOMY (Alternative), and DJ Bella Kri (Progressive House, Melodic Techno).
