In an unexpected twist, Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) faced a crushing defeat at the Club World Cup in the USA. PSG, who started strongly with a 4-0 victory over Atlético Madrid, suffered a 0-1 loss to Copa Libertadores champions Botafogo FR from Rio de Janeiro.
