Time to don your PSG jersey and get hyped! Our beloved team is back in the Champions League final after an astounding 2-1 win against Arsenal. The exciting journey began with a 1-0 victory in the first leg in London. Now, only Inter Milan stands between Paris and the long-coveted European Cup title.

Blue and red supporters like us, who have weathered a five-year waiting period since the final defeat in 2019, might recognize this special moment. PSG will be appearing in the Champions League final for the second time. This time, however, they are determined to surpass the heartbreaking loss against Bayern Munich and claim their first-ever triumph in the European Cup.

With Champions League victories over English giants Liverpool and Aston Villa already under their belt, PSG is eager to clinch the triple: securing the league, cup, and Champions League titles. But first, they must face off against Inter Milan in a battle royale on the hallowed turf of Munich's Allianz Arena. The Italians eliminated FC Barcelona and Hansi Flick in an unforgettable match on Tuesday.

PSG's unfair advantages showed in the game against Arsenal, thanks to outstanding performances from key figures like Fabian Ruiz and Achraf Hakimi. In the 27th minute, Ruiz hammered the ball home from the edge of the box for his first Champions League goal in his 46th game. Hakimi sealed the deal in the 72nd minute, giving the team the much-needed edge to secure the win.

Alas, the wait for Arsenal's second final since 2006 (1:2 against Barça) continues. Bukayo Saka scored a consolation goal in the 76th minute, but it wasn't enough to turn the tide. Never one to surrender, Saka would've made it tense in the final minutes had he not shot just over the empty net in the 80th minute. PSG, for their part, will strive to put the corona pandemic-marred defeat to Bayern Munich in the empty Lisbon stadium in 2020 firmly in the rearview mirror.

Coach Luis Enrique's team has already secured the league title, meaning a triple is now in sight. The cup final against Stade Reims is scheduled for May 24. On the other side of the coin, Arsenal, who were forced to do without the injured Kai Havertz, will have to wait another time to taste Champions League glory.

Despite Ousmane Dembélé's absence due to a thigh injury, PSG displayed their fighting spirit at the Parc des Princes, which was electrifying, much like it was in 2021 when they ended Borussia Dortmund's semi-final dreams at the same venue. Eager anticipation filled the air despite Dembélé, who scored in the first leg, only making it onto the bench.

Thomas Tuchel, who led the team to the final back in 2019, is surely proud to see his beloved team push toward the promise land once more. This time, with the likes of Hakimi and Ruiz leading the charge, who knows how far they can go?
