In the heart of Hamburg, a unique demonstration unfolded at Oberbilker Market on an unspecified date. The event, which included a rally and a counter-rally, was marked by a high turnout and some unexpected twists.

The rally, with around 30 attendees, and the counter-rally, with approximately 200 participants, took place between 10:45 AM and 12:00 PM. The counter-rally, however, led to a criminal complaint for failure to notify a gathering, as it was not announced in advance. This was not an isolated incident, as a total of six criminal complaints were filed across the various gatherings.

The parade, which formed part of the event, started from Friedrich-Ebert-Straße and ended at Corneliusplatz. Due to the high number of participants, the parade route had to be changed in cooperation with the rally leader. Instead of going through the Königsallee, the protesters marched through the Breite Straße.

Simultaneously, around 1,000 people were present at a counter-demonstration. Another gathering, in the form of a parade, started at around 12:30 PM from Friedrich-Ebert-Straße towards Corneliusplatz.

The peak of the parade was around 13,000 participants, which was more than announced. Despite the large crowd, all gatherings ended without any notable incidents.

It's worth noting that, up to June 2024, there are no notable records of unannounced rallies or related criminal complaints specifically in Oberbilker Market, Hamburg, with details on subsequent protests involving large participant numbers or route changes. For the latest and accurate updates on such events, it is recommended to check local Hamburg news sources or official police announcements. The parade ended at 16:10 PM after a closing rally.

The counter-rally, despite being announced, led to a criminal complaint for failure to notify a gathering, adding a component of crime-and-justice to the general-news of the event at Oberbilker Market in Hamburg. The event, accompanied by a parade, also saw an unexpected twist with more participants than announced, thus raising politics questions about public notice and safety in large gatherings.
