Donald Trump is currently on a state visit in the United Kingdom, marking his return to British soil since his first state visit in 2019. The visit, which has been met with both excitement and controversy, includes a tour of Windsor Castle and a series of grand events.

The scale of the military ceremony in Windsor is 'unprecedented', according to the British Ministry of Defense. King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Princess Kate were present to receive Trump. The visit began with a tour of Windsor Castle, accompanied by national anthems of both countries.

Trump, during his arrival, expressed his fondness for the United Kingdom, stating it is a 'very special place' for him. However, the visit has not been without its share of disruptions. A shaman disrupted the reception, shouting about a self-painted picture showing Trump as a caveman abducting the king.

The Epstein scandal has reached the innermost circle of the royal family, involving Prince Andrew. Activists projected images of Trump and Jeffrey Epstein onto a tower of Windsor Castle, an act that led to the arrest of four individuals. The scandal has also affected British politics, with Prime Minister Keir Starmer recalling his ambassador to Washington due to his close relationships with Epstein.

In a related development, a lawsuit ended in a settlement regarding the allegations against Prince Andrew. Peter Mandelson, former British ambassador to the USA, was dismissed due to his close connections with Epstein.

The hoped-for removal of steel and aluminum tariffs has not materialized, according to a report by the Guardian. Despite this, the British government announced a 'Technology Prosperity Pact' with the United States, worth billions in investments.

Thousands of people are expected to protest in London during Trump's visit. Tim Miles, a retiree, expressed his disapproval of Trump's visit with a red baseball cap reading 'Make America Go Away'.

The visit will culminate in a grand state banquet in the evening, during which both King Charles III and Trump will deliver speeches. First Lady Melania Trump arrived with a violet-hued hat featuring a wide brim, adding a touch of fashion to the political affair.

As the visit progresses, it remains to be seen how the mix of ceremony and controversy will unfold.
