On September 16, 2025, the concert series "dasKONZERTs" collaborated with the association "Kunstwert - we make culture" to host a protest culture event in Dresden Neustadt. The musical-performative program was curated by the music theater collective "Untere Reklamationsbehörde" and members of the Zentralwerk choir.

The event, in its tenth edition, aimed to make a statement against cuts in the cultural sector. It kicked off at 5 PM at the Alaunplatz and concluded at the Albertpavilion by the Elbe river, with a parade involving around 30 participants.

The audience was invited to actively participate in the event, using various noisemakers. Noise guitarist Cyril Ferrari accompanied the mobile part of the event with his eccentric sounds. The closing performance was taken over by the Polish-Ukrainian 31st Duo with Mariia Lemperk and D. Kowalik.

Since 2022, the series dasKONZERTs has been exploring unconventional concert formats, often in unusual locations. The series hit the streets in autumn 2025, turning public space into a concert hall, aiming to make a statement about the relevance of free culture in Dresden and beyond.

Meanwhile, a demonstration with around 200 participants marched through the Neustadt on the same day. A new book about the Neustadt quarter, the result of years of photography and writing about the area, was also published. The Neustadt Book likely provides an impression or information about the Neustadt quarter.

The official website for dasKONZERTs can be found at daskonzerts.de, and the official website for Untere Reklamationsbehörde can be found at untere-reklamationsbehoerde.de.

Julia Mihály and Maria Huber are members of the music theater collective "Untere Reklamationsbehörde," involved in curating the musical-performative program of the event "dasKONZERTs." The musical group Midnight Surprise was also featured during the event.

The details about the Budenauftakt are not discussed in the current paragraph.
