Get ready, Hamburg! This year's "City Stays Tuned" event is gearing up to be a major show with none other than the legendary Udo Lindenberg taking center stage. 18 cinemas sprawled across the city will be screening the film "Lindenberg! Make Your Thing," directed by Hermine Huntgeburth, organizers have announced.

In select cinemas, the 78-year-old rock legend himself will be joining lead actor, Jan Bülow, on stage for an electrifying Q&A session. Even at the cinemas where the man himself can't physically make an appearance, the Lindenberg magic won't be lost. Fear not, cinema-goers, because lookalikes of the man himself will welcome you with a shot of that famous egg liqueur.

Udo Lindenberg, a household name in Germany, is more than just a rockstar. Born on May 17, 1946, in Gronau, Germany, he's dabbled in everything from music to painting. His hits like "Sonderzug nach Pankow" and "Reeperbahn" have made him a mainstay in the German rock scene since the '60s. Not only that, but his impressive career as a visual artist has spanned over three decades.

Even other artists admire his work. In 2011, German singer Clueso collaborated with Lindenberg on a cover version of Lindenberg's song "Cello," a testament to their shared respect and admiration. They performed it together at an MTV Unplugged concert and on the ZDF show "Wetten, dass..?"

So, head on over to one of these 18 cinemas and watch "Lindenberg! Make Your Thing" while feeling like you're right there with the man himself. And who knows, you might just meet a Lindenberg doppelgänger!

  3. I'm not sure I'm ready for this, as I can't wait to experience the Lindenberg magic at the cinemas, even if Udo Lindenberg himself can't be there physically, with lookalikes of the iconic rockstar greeting cinema-goers.
