ProSieben's 'Die Cooking Academy' Premieres October 6 With Lara Kimpel and Brian Rosenkranz

ProSieben's new primetime series 'Die Cooking Academy' premieres on October 6, focusing on a prestigious cooking school where young talents compete. The show features Lara Kimpel as Irini, the central figure fighting for her scholarship under intense pressure. Brian Rosenkranz, known for 'SOKO Leipzig', plays Chris, one of Irini's love interests, marking his first leading role in a series.

The series follows Irini as she learns to run a kitchen with finesse at the academy, with Chris and Rafael (Louis J. Wagenbrenner) vying for her affection. Matthias Brüggenolte portrays the star chef Alexander Eichen, while Simone Hanselmann plays the academy's director, Felicitas Eichen, who faces financial problems and marital issues.

'Die Cooking Academy' premieres on Monday, October 6, at 6 PM on ProSieben and is also available on Joyn. It will air daily at the same time, with a total of 120 episodes planned.
