Prosecutor seeks 2.5 years imprisonment for Raúl Asencio in the Canteranos of Real Madrid case

In a shocking turn of events, four former youth team members of Real Madrid, Raúl Asencio, Andrés García, Ferrán Ruiz, and Juan Rodríguez, are facing prosecution for their alleged involvement in the distribution of an explicit sexual video involving a minor.

The charges against Raúl Asencio include two counts of invasion of privacy, and the prosecution is seeking a prison sentence of two and a half years for him. As for the other three individuals, the prosecution is seeking almost five years in prison for each of them for the crime of distributing child pornography.

According to the prosecution, the video in question features a sexual encounter that took place in a hotel room in the Canary Islands. The participants in the video were two young women, one of whom was 16 at the time, while the other was 18.

Raúl Asencio is accused of asking for the video to be shown to an acquaintance before deleting it. However, he is not accused of having consensual sex with the two girls in the video. The other three accused footballers had consensual sex with the two girls in the video.

The prosecution argues that Asencio's behavior cannot go unpunished, but to a different extent than the other three accused. It is worth noting that Raúl Asencio and the three individuals were all teammates at Real Madrid.

A judge issued an order to prosecute the four individuals last May, following an investigation into the matter. The prosecution is seeking justice for the victims involved and to ensure that such actions are not tolerated in society.
