The Hoferhof in Unterrath recently played host to a lively carnival event organised by the Dusseldorf Originals, with a series of exciting performances and memorable moments.

The evening started with a challenge as Swinging Funfares and their equipment, musicians, and performers found space within the venue. However, the crowd was soon captivated as Prince Andreas I. and Venetia Evelyn took to the stage for a microphone performance that set the tone for the night.

Thorsten Sander, a popular performer, energised the crowd at the Dusseldorf Originals' Stammtisch event. The carnivalists joined in singing and dancing along to his performances, creating a joyous atmosphere that was infectious.

The children's prince couple's session song was so well-received that it was sung twice due to the enthusiastic demand of the Jecken. The evening continued with more music, a visit from the Benrather Schloss Graf couple, and a performance by the group "Boygroup" Hahnenschrei of the Rote Funken Ratingen.

Guido Pfeiffer, a prominent figure in the Dusseldorf carnival scene, was appointed both honorary chairman and honorary business manager of the Originals in 2023. Lothar Hörning, Janine Kemmer, and Stefan Kleinehr honored him with the medal of honor of the German Carnival Federation in recognition of his contributions.

A colorful piggy bank was passed around the Hoferhof, and the funds collected were presented to the prince couple for their fundraising efforts for the Ambulant Children's and Youth Hospice (AKHD) and the Clara Schumann Music School.
