Going Out with a Bang: Korn and Brutalismus 3000 Wrap Up Rock am Ring's 40th Anniversary
Let's get this party started!
The 40th anniversary of the rocking extravaganza, Rock am Ring, in the mesmerizing Eifel, comes to a thrilling end on Monday night, featuring performances by top-tier bands Falling in Reverse and Korn. The Berlin duo Brutalismus 3000 will put on a show at 1:50 AM.
Despite the ominous clouds, surprisingly, the rain stayed at bay over the Nürburgring until Saturday afternoon, with occasional light showers. Today, showers and isolated thunderstorms are on the horizon.
Over the weekend, about 100 acts captivated a lively crowd of 90,000 fans at the sold-out festival on the Nürburgring. Almost the same lineup is performing at the twin festival, Rock im Park in Nuremberg, going on simultaneously. Ticket pre-sales for next year kick off on Tuesday, with Linkin Park announced as the first headliner on Friday.
As Rock am Ring bids farewell for this year, keep an eye out for next year's festival, which is bound to be just as epic with Green Day, Bring Me the Horizon, Parkway Drive, Måneskin, Avenged Sevenfold, Kraftklub, Babymetal, and more, confirmed to steal the show [3][4]. Other notable performers on the checks-radar include Die Ärzte, Broilers, and Biffy Clyro [1][3].
So, get ready to rock out with Korn and Brutalismus 3000, as Rock am Ring takes the stage in the heart of the Eifel one final time for its 40th anniversary!
Rock on and stay tuned!
