The extension, now running until 15 December 2025, follows the award of Petroleum Exploration Licence (PEL) 803 to project partner Gawler Group Holdings, validating the project's potential.

The regulatory approval process for PEL 803 was completed on 21 August 2025, with the change-of-control approval currently underway.
