Good news for fans of the hilarious duo, Felix Lobrecht (36) and Tommi Schmitt (36)! The pair will persist in tickling our funny bones with their outstanding podcast, "Mixed Grill," for years to come. To honor their 300th episode, they've signed an expansion of their contract with Spotify, keeping the chart-topping German language podcast afloat until 2027 minimum.
More Laughs, No Vacation
With this new deal comes exciting developments for the series: Beginning in 2026, there will now be 40 regular episodes and an additional 12 special episodes each year. Summer breaks will be a thing of the past as Wednesdays become "Hackday" all year round!
Felix Lobrecht is overjoyed about the contract extension. "Every week, 'Hack' serves as my therapy session, a release valve, a space for insanity, brainstorming, uncontrolled laughter, fan interaction, and above everything, a weekly chat with a friend."
