Project for Christmas oratorio seeks participants with singing abilities for choir performance
The choirs of Büdrich and Osterath are inviting singers of all levels of experience to join them in a special performance of Bach's "Jauchzet frohlocket" at the Christuskirche in Büdrich on December 13th at 6 PM.
Rehearsals for the concert are now available, starting from the beginning of September. Singers interested in participating can attend rehearsals on Tuesdays at 7:30 PM in Büdrich (Bethlehemkirche) and on Thursdays at 8 PM in Osterath (Evangelical Church).
Three weekend rehearsals are scheduled: September 19/20, November 7/8, and November 28/29. The final rehearsal will occur on Friday, December 12th, in the evening. Weekend rehearsals will take place from Fridays 7 to 9 PM and Saturdays 10 AM to 5 PM.
Individual rehearsals for voice groups will take place throughout the rehearsal process to ensure a smooth performance. The two conductors leading the project orchestras for the performance are Andreas Holschuh and Matthias Tewes.
The concert is an open project, and singers are encouraged to bring joy in their singing, as the two church musicians will take care of the rest. The performance is also open for people who wish to sing along.

The performance of "Jauchzet frohlocket" is part of a project involving the choirs of Büdrich and Osterath, as well as other project singers. The concert will take place at the Christuskirche in Büdrich, and it is a concert not to be missed!
