Tonight's TV Highlights: "In Flight" and "The Great British Sewing Bee"
Tonight, two captivating shows are gracing our screens. On Channel 4 at 9 pm, the psychological crime thriller "In Flight" begins its airing. This six-part series follows Jo Conran, a flight attendant, as she navigates a dangerous world to save her son Sonny, wrongfully imprisoned for a murder he didn't commit.
Jo finds herself entangled with a criminal gang, led by the menacing Cormac, who threatens her son's life unless she complies with their demands. The series, set across multiple international locations, showcases Jo's transformation from a hard-working flight attendant into a desperate and courageous heroine battling overwhelming odds.
Meanwhile, on BBC1 at 9 pm, "The Great British Sewing Bee" returns with a special theme: Kids' Week. This time, the contestants are given a Transformation challenge to turn maternity clothes into playwear, overseen by adaptive fashion designer Victoria Jenkins. In a unique twist, the Pattern challenge involves creating dungarees designed for wearers with specific conditions and access needs.
In another episode of "The Big Pound Shop Swap", the Osbornes, a farming family from the Midlands, swap their usual luxury supermarket and subscription shops for discount chains. Denise Van Outen is also featured in this episode.
