Raja Jackson Arrested for Attack on Professional Wrestler Stuart Smith

Raja Jackson, a 25-year-old mixed martial arts fighter, was arrested on Thursday in connection with an attack on professional wrestler Stuart Smith during a livestreamed event in Sun Valley, California. The incident, which took place on August 23, occurred at the KnokXPro Wrestling Academy. Video clips showed Jackson sitting in the front row during the wrestling event before the attack. In the livestream, Jackson was seen running into the ring and slamming Smith into the mat, followed by 23 rapid punches, many of which hit Smith's face, causing him to appear unconscious.

Wrestlers at the gym told The Times that Jackson's 'run-in' was supposed to be a scripted incident, but it turned into a real attack. Multiple wrestlers confirmed there was no initial plan for Jackson to run into the match, and the event was instead planned 'on the fly' after a previous confrontation between Smith and Jackson. It is reported that the incident may have been sparked by a livestreamed confrontation where Smith smashed a beer can on Jackson's head.

Raja Jackson is heard on the livestream saying, 'You just can't hit a can on my face. This isn't going to be scripted.' before the incident. As a result of the attack, Jackson has been kicked off the platform.

Stuart Smith, also known by his stage name Syko Stu, later apologized to Raja Jackson, stating he believed he was 'working' as part of the show and pointing to the livestreaming camera. Raja Jackson's father, Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson, criticized Smith for hitting his son but also blasted his son for not going to the police after the incident. Quinton Jackson stated that if his son had gone to the police after the beer can incident, the whole event could have been shut down.

Four wrestlers were required to pull Jackson off of Smith during the attack. Jackson was booked on suspicion of felony battery and was held on $50,000 bail, according to jail records. The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating the incident.

Andre Joel Hudson paid for Raja Jackson's VIP ticket to the event. The location of the incident is Sun Valley, California. The police from Los Angeles arrested someone in the city of Sun Valley on July 25 because they allegedly severely assaulted a professional wrestler at a professional wrestling event scheduled for August in Sun Valley.
