Productive Activities Ahead

In the quaint town of Bodenwohr, the year drew to a close with a sense of accomplishment and optimism. The town council, led by Mayor Richard Stabl, has been busy addressing various issues and initiatives, as evidenced by their recent meeting.

Mayor Stabl began the meeting by expressing his gratitude for the hard work and dedication shown by all council members. He praised their intensive and constructive efforts throughout the year.

Among those specifically mentioned for their support were Albert Krieger and Georg Hoffmann, both of whom were thanked for their contributions. Georg Hoffmann, a member of the CSU, also took the opportunity to thank the volunteer bus drivers for their invaluable service.

Otto Eichinger, the business manager, was thanked for maintaining a pleasant working atmosphere in the administration. In his response, Eichinger assured that the administration remains available for inquiries beyond the scheduled meetings.

The activities of the town council gave Mayor Stabl hope, as they demonstrated the connection of the citizens to the town council and their willingness to commit to the community of the municipality.

One of the significant decisions made was the approval of a new single-family house with a double garage in the Pingarten district, which passed without objections. Another preliminary application for a single-family house with a basement and double garage in the Windmais district also received the council's approval, although the applicant may need to contribute to planning costs.

A notable development was the municipal agreement reached for the change of the building plan "Am hinteren Markt" in Bruck. The vote was eleven to five in favour of the change.

Regarding the construction of a car repair shop with the sale of new and used cars in Neuenschwand, the council is currently checking with the district office to determine whether the project can be approved via an individual permit or via a regulation.

Stefan Rauch (SPD) addressed the refugee situation during the meeting, but no specific decisions or outcomes were reported.

The town council meeting concluded with Mayor Stabl expressing his gratitude for the many good news that came to mind when reviewing the year. The meeting marked a return to a factual level, as suggested by the words of the mayor and faction leaders at the final meeting.

As we move into the new year, the town of Bodenwohr looks forward to continuing its progress and building on the successes of 2022.

Other council members, including Stefan Rauch from the SPD, discussed various aspects of town politics during the meeting, such as the refugee situation. The council's general-news discussions often include updates on local initiatives, as demonstrated by the municipal agreement reached for the change of the building plan "Am hinteren Markt" in Bruck.
