Production Begins on Jared Keeso's 'I Kill The Bear' for Crave
Production has kicked off in Sudbury, Ontario, for the upcoming comedy series 'I Kill The Bear', set to premiere on Crave in 2026. The show is created, written by, and stars Jared Keeso, known for his work on Letterkenny. Keeso leads an ensemble cast that includes notable names like Chad Kroeger, Adrian Holmes, and Georges St-Pierre.
The series is a half-hour comedy about a family of bear wranglers for film sets deciding to make their last film. Keeso serves as the creator, writer, star, and executive producer, with New Metric Media producing the series in association with Play Fun Games. Mark Montefiore, Kara Haflidson, and Max Wolfond also join as executive producers.
Trevor Risk is on board as a producer and story contributor, with Dan and Sean Skene serving as directors and executive producers. The cast is rounded out by Jonathan Torrens, Sarah-Maude Beauchesne, Kristin Kreuk, Dylan Playfair, Eliana Jones, Frederick Roy, Megha Sandhu, and Scott Thompson.
'I Kill The Bear' is set to consist of six episodes, each a half-hour long. With a talented ensemble cast and crew, the series promises to bring laughter and entertainment to audiences when it hits Crave in 2026.
