Procession of Commemoration in Warsaw Recalls Deported Victims

This year, the rabbis of the Warsaw Ghetto will be memorialized, shining a light on the religious aspect of Jewish life within the ghetto. The route of the march takes participants through significant streets that once witnessed the lives of five commemorated rabbis.
The climax of the march sees the unveiling of an artistic installation that represents the rabbis' efforts, followed by the reading of Kalonimus Kalman Szapiro's final sermon before the Great Liquidation Action began. To conclude, participants will lay memory ribbons bearing the names of victims, helping restore the recollection of individuals lost to history.
