Prison rape promotion and child abuse allegations leveled against Biden's transgender policies, as per Miller's harsh critique
Title: Trump Admin Vows End to 'Strangulation' of DEI as Miller Targets Gender Policies in Prisons, Sports
Stephen Miller, White House Deputy Chief of Staff, declared that President Donald Trump's administration will eradicate what he calls the "strangulation" of DEI (Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion).
In contrast to the policies implemented by former President Joe Biden, Miller claimed that transgender policies promoted "prison rape" and "child abuse."
In line with this promise, Trump has already signed a series of executive orders recognizing male and female as the only two sexes and mandating transgender women born as biological males to be housed in male facilities within federal prisons.
Miller argued that the previous administration's policies endangered women, stating, "The Biden administration promoted prison rape by putting men into female prisons...This administration will not allow that."
The latest executive order also prohibits any gender-transition medical treatments for inmates, asserting that federal agencies will take "appropriate action to ensure that intimate spaces are designated by sex and not identity."
Recently, the Department of Justice threatened to withdraw funding from states that fail to comply with the executive order. For example, Maine's Department of Corrections faced funding cuts after permitting a biological man identifying as a woman to be housed in a women's prison facility.
Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the move, stating, "We pulled nonessential funding from the Department of Corrections in Maine because they were allowing a man in a woman's prison...We will protect women in prison."
Miller further criticized public school systems regarding teachers who support children identifying with a gender other than their assigned sex. According to Miller, such practices constitute "child abuse" that violates parental rights.
The Trump administration also focused on preventing biological men from participating in women's sports. An executive order signed in February bans transgender athletes and restricts their access to women's restrooms. The Department of Education is also tasked with investigating potential violations.
Miller emphasized, "We are using every single legal and financial tool we have...to make it clear that schools and universities will lose federal funds if you allow men to invade women's sports and women's spaces. Applies to our whole K-12 system."
While the Biden administration has not yet responded to these allegations, tension between the two administrations continues to escalate over various political and social issues.
