Primorye’s tourism boom brings record revenue and visitor surges

Tourism in Primorye has seen a sharp rise this year. Over two summer months, nearly 700,000 visitors flocked to the village of Andreyevka alone. Meanwhile, the region's tourism revenue has climbed by a fifth, bringing in billions for local budgets.

In Vladivostok, Tourism Minister Natalja Naboichenko announced the latest figures in early October. She confirmed that tourism now contributes 2.6 billion rubles to Primorye's 2025 budget—20% more than the same period last year. The growth follows the introduction of a tourist fee in six municipalities across the region.

The extra funding will support further development in Primorye's tourism sector. With visitor numbers rising and taxes filling local coffers, the region expects continued growth. Officials plan to expand infrastructure to handle the increasing flow of tourists.
