Primorsky Krai pensioners to receive May payments on schedule

Pension payments in Primorsky Krai will follow the standard schedule in May despite the extended holidays and public days off. No early disbursements were made in April, with funds for bank card recipients arriving on May 15 and 22, while postal offices will operate on their usual dates, the regional government's press service reported.

"If the payment is delivered by Russian Post, pensioners will receive their May funds on their usual dates, according to the schedule of their local post office," explained Alexandra Vovchenko, head of the Primorsky Krai branch of the Pension Fund of Russia (SFR).

The agency emphasized that the pension delivery schedule remains unchanged, with all necessary funds already allocated. Residents do not need to take any additional steps—payments will be processed automatically.

Authorities remind Primorsky Krai residents that they retain the right to choose their preferred pension delivery method. Switching between postal and bank transfers—or vice versa—can be done at any time. To do so, recipients simply need to submit an application via their personal account on the Gosuslugi public services portal, at a Multifunctional Center (MFC), or through the client service office of the Primorsky Krai SFR branch. Applications are processed within three business days, and payments under the new method will begin the month following the submission.
