Kuwait's Prime Minister Visits NEOM, Saudi Arabia
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait, paid an official visit to NEOM, Saudi Arabia today. The visit was marked by a reception, where a senior delegation from Kuwait and key Saudi officials were present.
Upon arrival, His Highness was received by Prince Turki bin Mohammed, Minister of State and Cabinet Member. Among the Saudi officials present at the reception were Prince Sultan bin Saad, Ambassador to Kuwait, and Yousef Al-Tunaib, Consul General in Jeddah and Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
During the visit, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah reaffirmed Kuwait's commitment to continued cooperation with Saudi Arabia, emphasising their shared progress and the enduring historical and fraternal bonds between the two countries. He also expressed his appreciation for the warm reception by Prince Turki bin Mohammed.
In his press statement, His Highness highlighted the strategic partnership between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia across various fields, and the opportunity the visit presents to enhance ongoing bilateral dialogue on key issues of mutual interest. The discussions focused on strengthening the strategic partnership, reaffirming their deep-rooted cooperation, and enhancing bilateral consultations on issues serving both countries' interests.
Regional and global developments were also a key topic of discussion, with a focus on promoting security and peace in the region and beyond. Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah praised the Kingdom's leadership and government for their prudent policies.
The visit to NEOM, a futuristic city under development in Saudi Arabia, is seen as a valuable opportunity to deepen relations with Saudi Arabia. The discussions are expected to pave the way for further cooperation and strengthen the bonds between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
