In the heart of the city, the annual sports festival brought together 300 eager participants from various schools, each vying for glory in their respective year groups. The event, held in 2015, showcased a remarkable display of athletic prowess and camaraderie.

Among the standout performers was Haley Bork from the Ernst-Reuter School. Haley made history by becoming the city champion for the girls of the 2015 year group, a title she earned with an outstanding score of 1,016 points. Her performance was nothing short of exceptional, as she surpassed the 1,000-point mark, a feat rarely achieved in the festival.

In the boys' category, the title was hotly contested. Jonas Westphal from the Niersenberg Primary School emerged victorious with a narrow one-point lead, securing the championship with 880 points.

The boys' city championship title for the 2016 year group was secured by Merfud Ahmetašević, who scored an impressive 798 points. In the same year group, July Sabrina Hardt from the Ebertschule won the girls' title with 916 points.

The 2014 year group saw a fierce competition, with Nedim Smajlovic from the Ebertschule winning the boys' title with 980 points, and Valentina Chidinma Okoye from the Ernst-Reuter School taking the girls' title with an impressive 997 points.

Medin Idrizi from the Pappelsee Primary School won the title of "best thrower of the day" with a throw of 38.2 meters, while Marcel Kasemir from the Ernst-Reuter School was the best jumper with an excellent 3.75 meters.

The team of teachers and parents ensured a smooth running of the competitions, creating an atmosphere of excitement and support. Each participant received a free ticket to the Panoramabad, a gesture aimed at encouraging them to continue their athletic pursuits.

The top ten of each year group received a certificate, and sport coordinator Dr. Christoph Müllmann personally honoured the successful students, acknowledging their hard work and dedication.
