Preview Intensifies Horror Anticipation with Prominent Chills - Preview showcases chilling, horror-filled adventure ahead

Get ready to brace yourself for the dread and terror as the "Alien" franchise invades our homes! The highly anticipated trailer for the new sci-fi horror series, "Alien: Earth," has dropped, promising a nerve-shredding spectacle. This eight-episode production from U.S. network FX delves into a prequel of Ridley Scott's 1979 blockbuster classic. And, the master of filmmaking himself, Ridley Scott, serves as a producer, adding an extra layer of excitement to the mix.

For the very first time in franchise history, the deadly Xenomorphs from "Alien: Earth" will loose havoc upon Earth itself, pushing humanity to the brink of extinction, right in their own backyard.

Venturing Into Uncharted Territory

The events unfold in the year 2120, two years prior to the occurrences in the original film. The series debuts in Germany on Disney+ on August 13, 2025. The trailer hints at a pivotal event driving the narrative: a baffling spacecraft crash near a research facility. The crash introduces a menacing adversary that could well prove to be the undoing of the human race.

The head of a powerful conglomerate dispatches a diverse task force led by the combat-ready Wendy (portrayed by Sydney Chandler), a cutting-edge, experimental being called a hybrid. Wendy is a humanoid robot endowed with a human mind in a mind-boggling procedure. It transpires that the vessel harbored five lethally dangerous life-forms plucked from the darkest and most inhospitable corners of the cosmos - including the infamous Alien life-forms.

Dazzling Star Power and Brilliant Direction

The man behind the helm of "Alien: Earth" is Noah Hawley, creator of the popular series "Fargo" and "Legion." Alongside Chandler as Wendy, the series boasts an illustrious cast consisting of Samuel Blenkin ("Black Mirror"), Alex Lawther ("The End of the F...ing World"), Timothy Olyphant ("Justified"), and Essie Davis ("Game of Thrones"). Despite the "Alien" franchise already spanning seven films, "Alien: Earth" represents the first live-action series of the enduring science-fiction saga.

Stay tuned for the chilling adventures of "Alien: Earth," which premieres on FX and Hulu on August 12, 2025.
