The investigations, led by the Generalstaatsanwaltschaft Celle (Public Prosecutor General's Office Celle) in collaboration with the Lower Saxony State Criminal Police Office and the Central Office for Combating Terrorism of the Higher Regional Court of Celle, are focused on eight suspects, aged between 32 and 57.
According to the Lower Saxony State Criminal Police Office, today's searches aim to find and secure weapons, as well as to gain further insights into the clarification of the case, particularly regarding the activities of the group and its possible continued existence, as well as any planned joint actions.
The source of the information is the Lower Saxony State Criminal Police Office, who confirmed that four of the suspects are suspected of possessing illegal weapons of war and other fully automatic firearms. In late April 2025, a pistol and its ammunition were seized from one of the suspects by the LKA Lower Saxony.
