The XXII Valdai International Discussion Club meeting is currently underway in Sochi, Russia, from September 29 to October 2. This year's event, themed 'A Multipolar World: A User's Guide', has drawn 140 representatives from 42 countries. Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to attend the plenary session on October 2.

The Valdai forum, established in 2004, serves as a platform for dialogue between Russian and international experts. This year's central theme explores the implications of a multipolar world order. Participants are discussing global trends, challenges, and opportunities in this shifting landscape.

Notably, President of Serbia Milorad Dodik is expected to engage in a conversation with President Putin during the forum. While the details of their discussion remain unclear, it is likely to cover bilateral relations and regional issues.

The XXII Valdai meeting continues until October 2, with President Putin's participation in the plenary session marking a significant moment. The identities of those attending the XXIII Valdai event in 2026 remain unknown, as no official announcements have been made yet.
