Preparing Oberhausen for Future Developments
Despite the challenges faced by the city, the SPD city council faction in Oberhausen remains committed to making the city more livable and lovable for its residents. The time of stagnation is finally over, and this should not only apply to bridging issues.
In Sterkrade's pedestrian zone, a model apartment for the elderly and disabled is being created, equipped with digital assistance systems. This project aims to showcase how modern technology can support the daily lives of these residents, enabling them to live longer and more satisfied in their own homes.
The first two outdoor fitness areas will be established in Lirich and Sterkrade, further promoting the well-being of Oberhausen's residents.
The topic of "bridging" has once again been brought to the forefront by SPD politicians in the council committees and the district council of Alt-Oberhausen. However, there is no specific information available about a project named "Bridge strike" and its impact on improving living conditions for the elderly and disabled.
Oberhausen has expressed sympathy and solidarity towards the people of Saporishja, a partner city that has been repeatedly exposed to Russian attacks. Many residents of Oberhausen have donated, organized, and pitched in for the aid for Ukraine and the refugees, with over 3,000 refugees from Ukraine finding a temporary home in the city due to the Russian attacks. Donations from Oberhausen are intended to alleviate the suffering of people in Saporishja.
The city's debt level is expected to exceed two billion euros this year, and an old debt solution must be put in place with the federal and state governments responsible for this. The SPD city council faction wishes all residents of Oberhausen a happy and healthy New Year 2023.

The SPD city council faction in Oberhausen has expressed interest in implementing modern technology to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled, as evidenced by the model apartment project in Sterkrade's pedestrian zone. In the realm of politics, there is a need for comprehensive solutions to address these issues in Oberhausen, not just focusing on bridging matters.
