Battlefield 6's Destruction Receipts Event: Wreak Havoc for an Exclusive Reward

Get ready, gamers! Battlefield 6 has launched an exciting community-driven challenge called the Destruction Receipts event during the Open Beta Weekend 2. The goal? To collectively destroy a staggering $1 trillion worth of in-game assets.

To participate, players need to: 1. Play the Battlefield 6 Open Beta and record a gameplay clip (up to 30 seconds) demonstrating significant destruction, such as buildings collapsing or vehicles exploding. The clip must show at least $1,000 worth of destruction to qualify. 2. Post the recorded clip on social media platforms Instagram or X (formerly Twitter) using the hashtag #BF6Receipts and tag @battlefield. Only destruction shared this way will count towards the community total.

Once the $1 trillion damage goal is reached, players who contributed by posting destruction clips will earn the exclusive "Destruction" skin for the M60 machine gun as a launch reward.

The event is not directly shown inside the in-game menu but is tracked externally on social media and a dedicated website leaderboard, allowing you to see your destruction receipts and community ranking.

While the Destruction Receipts event may seem unusual, as destruction metrics are not counted in the background, it's a fun way to showcase Battlefield’s hallmark large-scale destruction using next-gen technology.

Meanwhile, in the world of gaming hardware, the HP Omen 35L has been recognised as the best gaming PC, the Razer Blade 16 as the best gaming laptop, the Meta Quest 3 as the best VR headset, the Lenovo Legion Go S SteamOS ed. as the best handheld gaming PC, and the Minisforum AtomMan G7 PT as the best mini PC.

In other news, Rory Norris, an avid video creator and freelancer who guides editors, has spent over 1,000 hours on The Elder Scrolls Online. When he's not immersed in the world of live service games like Destiny 2, Call of Duty, and The Elder Scrolls Online, you might find him in a cave with dwarves.

Stay tuned for more updates on the Destruction Receipts event and other exciting gaming news!
