The conflict in Ukraine persists, with Russian forces occupying approximately 18.9% of the country's territory. Despite recent territorial gains, the capture of fortified cities and towns remains a challenge for Russia, resulting in significant losses, with over a million troops estimated to have been killed or wounded.

Recent military actions have seen Russian forces launch massive drone and missile strikes, including a record-breaking attack on July 3-4, primarily targeting Kyiv. Ukraine has responded by striking military targets in Russia.

Amidst this intense conflict, volunteer efforts continue to provide crucial support to those affected. Volunteers have been instrumental in evacuating civilians, distributing aid, and organizing community support programs. Specifically, volunteers have been providing humanitarian aid via both land vehicles and boats along Ukraine's waterways.

The '100 Cars for Ukraine' campaign has seen many donations of cars, with the donated money used to service them, sort out the paperwork, and buy fuel for the 1,000-kilometer journey to the front. The boats donated to Ukraine are made of plastic and are not affected by mines, making them valuable assets during the conflict.

Ingus Ostrovskis, a member of the board of the Bruņotava ("Armoury") association, is preparing for a trip to deliver vehicles and boats to Ukraine. Ostrovskis is part of a group of volunteers helping Ukraine, with their focus on units that are actively fighting in the country.

Kaspars Klapkalns, chairman of the board of "Laivu depo" (Boat Depot), states that they are next in line to help Ukraine. He emphasizes that they must look in the direction of Russia, as the ongoing conflict continues.

The focus on Middle Eastern conflicts has complex implications for Ukraine. While it may divert some international attention, Ukraine continues to receive significant support from Western countries, including weapons from Donald Trump. This support indicates that, despite the challenges, Ukraine remains a priority for many international actors.

However, the events in Iran are currently taking the focus away from Ukraine, causing concern among volunteers like Ostrovskis. He is particularly worried about the ongoing armed conflict in Ukraine, especially as the world's attention is focused on other regions.

In summary, while the conflict in Ukraine is intense, volunteer efforts continue to provide vital support. The international focus on other regions like the Middle East does not appear to have significantly diminished the aid flowing into Ukraine. The boats and cars donated during the '100 Cars for Ukraine' campaign are reported to have saved many lives during the ongoing conflict. The campaign aims to do their utmost to help Ukraine during this time of conflict.
