Preparations intensify for DSA's Flying H Polo event
Get ready for an unforgettable afternoon of high-energy sports and community spirit! The Downtown Sheridan Association (DSA) is hosting a professional polo event at the Flying H Polo Club in Big Horn, near Sheridan, Wyoming.
This exciting event, open to both residents and visitors, will take place on a day filled with multiple polo matches. The gates open at 3 p.m., providing ample time to settle in and prepare for the action-packed day ahead.
The polo matches are the main attraction, with some of the world's top professional players participating annually. The Skeeter Johnston Memorial Cup, a notable event, is also part of the schedule.
As the sun sets, the day's activities continue with kids' foot races starting at 4 p.m., followed by an amateur and professional long drive Calcutta. After the game, there will be a polo awards ceremony and a long drive competition, making for a thrilling conclusion to the day.
A traditional Champagne Divot Stomp will take place at halftime, adding an extra touch of glamour to the event.
