Speedy Gnocchi Skillet Recipe with Ground Beef, Cheese, and Leek
Ingredients (Serves 4)
- 1 leek
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 onion
- A big bunch of fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp butter
- 600g fresh gnocchi
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 500g ground beef
- 1 splash of soy sauce
- 120ml vegetable broth
- Salt, pepper
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
- 1 tbsp dried parsley
- 200g fresh cheese
- 100g cheddar
Preparation
- To clean your leek, simply remove its outer layer and cut it into rings. Peel and mince your garlic and onion. Wash, dry, and finely chop the parsley.
- Heat your butter in a skillet. Add the gnocchi, cooking until they turn a golden hue. Remove them from the skillet.
- Add olive oil to the skillet. Sauté the garlic and onions before adding the ground beef, stirring until it's cooked and crumbly.
- In go the leek rings. Deglaze with a generous splash of soy sauce and vegetable broth. Season with salt, pepper, chili, and paprika powders, as well as fresh parsley. Stir in the fresh cheese until it's well incorporated.
- Cover the skillet and let it all simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Add the precooked gnocchi to the skillet and let it cook for another 3 minutes, ensuring that the cheese is fully melted and evenly distributed.
- Portion the dish onto plates, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve!
