Bossman's Roadshow: A Glimpse into the Springsteen Biopic "Deliver Me From Nowhere" Starring Jeremy Allen White

First Motion Pictures Starring Jeremy Allen White - Premiere of the initial film starring Jeremy Allen White

Drumroll please, y'all! The initial sneak peeks for the Springsteen biopic, "Deliver Me From Nowhere," have graced our eager eyes - despite being under wraps for most of us typical folks. During CinemaCon in Sin City, 20th Century Studios dished out a trailer for industry bigwigs over the weekend. The silver screen sensation, "The Bear" star, Jeremy Allen White (34), dons the boots of the legendary punk-rocker, Bruce Springsteen (75), in this flick.

The industry-only clip takes off at a New Jersey jalopy joint, where our leading man, White, takes a spin in a Chevy 305. The salesman, with a knowing smirk, declares, "I know who you are." To which our Boss retorts, "At least one of us."

It's About Finding the Middle Ground

Here's the kicker, folks. In the timeline of the film, ol' Brucey Boy is smack dab in the middle of a crisis of identity. "Deliver Me From Nowhere" dives deep into the creation of the album "Nebraska." An LP solely acoustic, it marked Springsteen's break from the usual sound, all in the face of success and the ghosts from his past. Jeremy Allen White shared these insights during CinemaCon.

Get Ready for a Blast from the Past

Collars Gone Wild has it that the trailer flashes back to Springsteen's humble abode, painting a picture of his upbringing. His ol' man, aka Adulthood's Stephen Graham, plays the tough cookie determined to toughen the young lad, while his ma, Gaby Hoffmann, strives to instill empathy. Towards the end of the clip, White pumps up the volume and belts out "Born to Run," the anthemic title track from Springsteen's 1975 breakout album. Rumor has it, he nails that raw Springsteen vocal for a home run.

For White, playing Springsteen is a dream come true, as he declared on stage. "I'm chuffed as a bag of peaches. We all earned Bruce's seal of approval," he proclaimed. "Deliver Me From Nowhere" is set to rock the theaters by the tail end of 2025.
