From May 17 to 25, 2023, the World Table Tennis Championships will go down in Doha, Qatar, and, guess who's playing? Our badass Kazakhstan squad, that's who!

  • Kirill Gerasimenko versus Clarence Chew (Singapore)

Zauresh Akasheva and Sarvinoz Mirkadirova will face Tan Zhao Yun and Zhang Wanling in the 1/32 finals of the mixed doubles event at the World Table Tennis Championships in 2023. In the individual competition, Zhao, a Singaporean player, will be one of the Kazakhstan squad's opponents in the 1/64 finals. The Kazakhstan team, who are playing in Doha from May 17 to 25, will also compete in the doubles event, where in one match, they will be up against 32-ranked player, Zaharov and Akimaliev, from Ecuador.
