The Texas Longhorns quarterback's star is shining bright, landing him among the top picks in 2026 mock drafts. Several forecasts have Manning going as high as No. 1 or No. 2 overall. Adding fuel to the fire, Arch Manning redshirted his freshman year, meeting the three-year requirement from high school to enter the NFL Draft, should he choose to do so in 2026.
However, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter has hinted that Manning might consider waiting another year before declaring for the draft. He cautioned that Manning's decision isn't set in stone yet.
"First off, there's no guarantees Arch Manning will enter the draft after next year," Schefter explained on ESPN's "Get Up." "It seems like he could be staying beyond next year. I'm not a college football insider, but none of the Mannings ever went out early, and I'm not certain, with NIL money being what it is, why Arch would do that? So, all this chatter about tanking for Arch in the next draft? He might be in the 2027 draft, not even next year."

Despite limited college game experience under his belt, Manning is tipped to be one of the top prospects for the 2026 draft. Penn State's Drew Allar and South Carolina's LaNorris Sellers are also expected to join Manning as top picks for the 2026 draft.
