Central India and Adjacent Regions
By July 29, heavy to very heavy rainfall is forecast over East Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, with isolated extremely heavy falls in West Madhya Pradesh on July 29. Continued heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya during this period and beyond, with increasing activity from August 1. A decrease in rainfall is expected over the southern peninsula and central India starting around August 1.
