Predator: Badlands Storms Into Germany With 4K Steelbook and Immersive Audio
The latest Predator film, Predator: Badlands, arrives in Germany this year. Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment will release it on Blu-ray, Ultra HD Blu-ray, and a special 4K Steelbook edition. The sci-fi action thriller follows a rogue Predator teaming up with an android in a fresh take on the franchise.
Predator: Badlands is directed by Dan Trachtenberg, known for his work in high-energy action films. The cast includes Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi in leading roles. The story marks a new direction for the series, which began in the 1980s with John McTiernan’s Predator, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The German release will offer multiple audio options. Viewers can choose between a German Dolby Digital Plus 7.1 track or an English Dolby Atmos mix for the 4K UHD version. Subtitles will be available in both German and English. Bonus materials for the home release include audio commentary from the filmmakers. Fans can also expect featurettes, deleted scenes, and pre-visualization sequences. The film joins recent franchise entries like Prey (2022) and Predator: Killer of Killers (2025), expanding the long-running sci-fi saga.
The Blu-ray, Ultra HD Blu-ray, and 4K Steelbook editions of Predator: Badlands will hit German shelves under Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment’s partnership with Leonine. The release includes multiple language options, immersive audio, and extensive bonus content. The film continues the Predator series with a fresh storyline and new characters.
