Unexpected legal hurdle for party organizers: Two months following the release of promotional posters for the upcoming 80/90s Mega-Party, dubbed 'Totally Unleashed', set for Saturday, January 25, in the Further Festzelt, a court order was served to the fraternity.

🤘 Let's dive into the groovy revamp of the rad '80s! The organizer, Marc Pesch, faced a bit of a pickle with the legal eagles demanding a change in the party name and scraping promotional materials due to a conflict with a famous singer from the New German Wave. The event's title now sports a slick wink, "Back in the Day was Better," replacing the initial "Completely Unleashed."

Luckily, the lawyers representing the singer settled things out of court, considering the event is run by a non-profit association. President Jochen Hennen is relieved and muses about the nostalgia, "Maybe things just seemed simpler back then."

🎶🎹 The party is still on and bigger than ever! More than 500 enthusiasts snatched up tickets already for the mega-soiree in Furth, featuring two ultimate '80s artists, Geier Sturzflug and Markus. Geier Sturzflug, a cheeky German band known for their witty tunes, ruled the airwaves with smashes like "Pure Lust am Leben." Markus, though not explicitly recognized as a number 1 act, certainly had his fair share of hits like "Ich will Spaß" and "Kleine Taschenlampe brenn."

Marc Pesch himself will be spinning the hits of the '80s and '90s as the resident DJ at the event venue. The party replaces the Former Wintergaudi, which used to lure more than 1,000 partygoers to the Further Festzelt for years. The decreasing interest prompted the organizer to come up with a refreshing new concept. "It's clear that we made the right call based on the ticket sales," says Jochen Hennen.

🎟️ party people! Grab your tickets ASAP! You can get them at tickets.marcpesch.de, Lebioda inn in Furth, or at all Eventim advance sale points in Neuss and Kaarst. Take your pick from the TUI travel agency on Martinusstraße, Kaarst, the Tourist Info at Neuss town hall, or various local outlets. The entry fee is 15 euros, plus booking fees.

🎉🎉 So, are you ready to relive the good old days? Hang on tight, because this is going to be a wild ride!

The event is generously supported by Kaiserwinkl in Tirol, Gottfried Schultz car dealership in Neuss, Rheinland Insurance, Sparkasse Neuss, Stadtwerke Neuss, and Lebioda inn.

Other entertainment at the event will be music from Geier Sturzflug and Markus, two '80s artists who will perform their hits such as "Pure Lust am Leben" and "Ich will Spaß". Additionally, the attendees can look forward to a dose of pop-culture nostalgia as the event will feature '80s themed decor and music throughout the night.
