Get ready Germany, the weather's taking a turn for the worse! The German Meteorological Service (DWD) has sounded the alarm for thunderstorms, storms, and torrential rain across parts of the country. Here's the lowdown on where the heavy weather's hitting:

"A cold front from a low-pressure system lodged in the northwest of Norway is creepin' in from the northwest but moving slow. Once it slides south, milder air will reach us, but the south'll stay swelteringly humid. In the south and Saxony, expect thunderstorms in the morning and afternoon, with local downpours of up to 15 liters per square meter per hour!"

Hail Showers and Wind Gusts Up to 70 km/h Expected

The DWD forecasts stormy weather, especially in the south, east, and southern middle, with downpours of up to 20 liters per square meter in a flash, hail, and wind gusts of up to 70 km/h (Bft 8 to 9)! Be prepared for hellacious weather, particularly in the south, where severe storms featuring heavy rain of up to 30 liters per square meter, larger hail, and wind gusts of 80 km/h (Bft 9) can't be ruled out. Up north, short-lived thunderstorms with hail and wind gusts of 65 km/h (Bft 8) are also possible.

For the rest of the country, it'll be a blend of sun and clouds, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the east and north. The norm, though, will be clear skies. Max temps will hover between 17 to 20 degrees in the northwest and reach 21 to 24 degrees elsewhere, with gentle W-NW winds.
